DescriptionThe company, under the name Sambitan Foods and Delicacies, started off in 2008 with an initial capitalization of P5,000.00 loaned from the Entrepreneur Alumni Development (EDCOOP). In 2010, it enrolled in the GIA Program of DOST which granted the enterprise mechanical mixer, induction sealer, grating machine and vacuum sealer. To further upgrade its production, the company applied for SETUP assistance and was approved in 2012. The equipment acquired through the project was delivered in 2013 but utterly failed to address the technical needs of the company due to design flaws.The company then deemed necessary to withdraw from pursuing the project in May 2013 and signified interest to resubmit a new project proposal for a new set of equipment.
