DescriptionSiony's Chicharon operation started with the idea generated by Mr. Eduardo Bercasio. During his early marriage life, he learned from a couple living beside their boarding house how to produce chicharon baboy. On 1973, on a trial basis, he decided to produce the same until he and his wife perfected the process. The business had its operation started with an initial capital of Php 50.00 (fifty pesos). Three kilos of pork skin were processed per day selling it through retail. It was on 17 August 1995 when the business was registered as Siony's Chicharon at Department of Trade and Industry. The name was derived from the nickname of Mrs. Asuncion Bercasio. Through the years, Siony's has concentrated on one main product, which is chicharon baboy. Right now, it has eleven (11) workers and has small production area.
